Hey friends! I had a late-ish night at work last night and after taking my lady dog for a walk, figuring out dinner, and showering, I was too sleepy for nail art. As I was perusing my polish racks trying to figure out what color to paint my nails, this pretty lil thang caught my eye. This is Spoiled by Wet n' Wild Cougar Attack.
Cougar Attack is a gorgeous dark brown jelly filled with coppery microglitter. I did three coats to get that deep, buried glitter effect, but it was opaque in 2 coats, which really surprised me. The application was easy too, the Spoiled brushes are so ugly and ratty-looking but they actually work really nicely with my nail shape. I barely had to do any cleanup!
I bought this polish forever ago but never used it because I suck. I literally cannot believe I've never put this gorgeous thing on my nails. It looks like fall in a bottle... maybe that's why, actually. I probably bought it in spring when I was like ALL PASTELS AND NEONS ALL THE TIME.
I have so many new polishes to wear that I almost decided against wearing this one today but I just felt so DRAWN to it. I'm blaming Jacqui from The Scholarly Nail because she has been posting so many gorgeous swatches of Halloween microglitters in dark jelly bases. I think my lust for all of the polishes she owns was at the back of my mind when I picked this guy out last night.
What do you guys think of this polish? I love it so much more than I expected to and at $1.99 it's a STEAL. Everyone should go and get themselves a bottle! Really get into that fall spirit! Aw yeah!

This is so lovely! Maybe I should stop avoiding WnW polishes, haha!
ReplyDeleteomg girl what are you doing avoiding wnw polishes! they're great!
DeleteI love Wet n Wild Spoiled line. They have a lot of really cool glitters. I definitely need to find this beauty. Haha I feel the same about the brush. It looks abused but it's perfect for my nails. Gorgeous swatch!
ReplyDeletedude i have a few of the glitters in clear bases and they are on point! they have square glitter and everything. hahaha you cracked me up saying the brush looks abused! perfect word for it. i was shocked at how cleanly it painted my nails though!
DeleteI'm no better then you I pulled this one out of my drawer telling myself I have to swatch it...still haven't done it yet. Your application is perfection. It is a beautiful polish :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! I just bought my first Spoiled polish a month agar and I love it- I haven't swatch it though- perhaps I will do that tonight.
ReplyDeleteThis polish is SO DARN BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I will have to break this one out. I've used it and remembered loving it. Not a huge fan of the brush but I've learned to work with it.
ReplyDeleteOh sweet, I never knew this was part of the Spoiled line! I remember it being part of some LE WnW collection last fall, it's pretty similar to another LE polish Sally Hansen - Pumpkin Spice, which I love but I don't wanna use up haha.
ReplyDeleteYour swatches are gorgeous!
